Works great after setting up differently
We use Spectrum internet for our "landline" phone service. When first set up, we used the written instructions provided with the call blocker. There were 3 different options for connecting to our phone line. None of these worked with our phone line. After a few days of frustrating calls not being blocked, we connected the call blocker to our phone using a method not outlined in the instructions, but it worked for us! The call blocker comes with a black line connection and a white one with a red end clip. We plugged our phone line from our phone into the FIRST Line Input jack on the back of the call blocker. We plugged the cable with the red end into TEL1 input on the call blocker. The other end of this second cable was plugged into the back of our telephone. Now, when we get a call, the number comes up on the call blocker screen, and we just press the large red "BLOCK NOW" button to block the call. The total number of blocked calls entered will appear on the call blocker screen. When we took this photo shown, we had blocked nine phone numbers. We will keep this call blocker and enjoy our peace and quiet!!

It has only been hooked up for 1 day.
So far, after being hooked up for 1 daty only, I have not received any robo calls. Before this I was getting more than 6 each day. It is very easy to use.

NO Spam calls in the first 4 days. Wow.
It's so quiet and peaceful around our home. It's been years and years since we have had a quiet phone. The lack of intrusion is amazing and feels so good to have a quiet home. I have the v100K which has a blocked database of 100,000 already blocked numbers. I can block 10000 more. But I have yet to have to block one as nothing comes through. Here's hoping this will last. I'm surprised the phone companies don't allow an opt in for a service like this. Clearly the technology is there. If this little black box can do it so can the big dogs. I gotta think. Anyway I love this. It's worth every penny. Get the V100K. I'm thinking you'll be glad you did. I am.

CPR Call Blocker V5000 for landline phones has been preloaded with 5,000 known scam / nuisance numbers reported to the FCC. This can significantly reduce robocalls, scam calls, political calls, election calls and general nuisance calls once the call blocker is connected.
Create your own blocklist
The red "Block Now" button is located on the top of the unit. At the push of a button, the unwanted caller's number is stored in the unit's memory, the call will hang up and the number will be blocked permanently. This feature allows you to block up to 1,500 unwanted calls.
CALL LIST: By clicking on the CALLS LIST button, you can display the last 20 calls. Should you wish to add any of these numbers when shown, press BLOCK NOW button.
BLOCK LIST: Numbers can be easily removed by pressing the DELETE button when number is shown on the screen.
(#) 2 BLOCK FEATURE Block a number by entering # 2 (Pound 2) on any cordless handset connected to the telephone base.
Easy to connect
LARGE SCREEN: Features a large, easy-to-read 3-inch display screen.
Unplug the line cable to your handset and plug into the line port on the call blocker.
Connect the black cable provided into the Tel Port of the call blocker and reconnect to your handset.
BLOCKLIST: By clicking on the BLOCKLIST button, you can view your complete blocklist and, if necessary, you can easily remove a number from the blocklist by pressing the DELETE button.

Additional Blocking Features
PRIVATE BLOCKING FEATURE: This will reject all calls shown as PRIVATE.
UNKNOWN BLOCK FEATURE: This will reject all calls shown as UNKNOWN.
INTERNATIONAL BLOCKING FEATURE: This will reject all calls displayed as INTERNATIONAL.
"0" TYPE CALL BLOCKING FEATURE: This will reject all calls displayed as multiple 0s or variations of false numbers.
AREA CODE BLOCKING: This can block an area, or country code.
