Ghana Education Service (GES) has now released the 2023-2024 GES Academic Calendar for Basic Schools and SHSs. These calendars have been uploaded for all stakeholders to download.
In all, there are three separate calendars available for download. These are the academic calendars for Basic Schools (Only), Double Track Free SHSs (Only) and Single Track Free SHSs (Only)

BASIC SCHOOLS
The 2023/2024 academic calendar for KG/Primary and JHS schools in Ghana has been released. The academic year will commence on October 3, 2023 and end on December 21, 2023 for KG – JHS 2 and July 25, 2024 for JHS 3.
Here is a detailed breakdown of the academic calendar:
